When Ronald Linder took over the management of his parents' winery in 2013, everyone involved realised that a lot would change. Today, the small 5-hectare winery produces exclusively spontaneously fermented country wines, some unfiltered, some unsulphurised. Linder also does many things differently in the vineyard. Sheep and chickens work the slopes and vineyards, lavender and rosemary provide a pleasant fragrance, alternating plantings turn the vineyards into true biotopes and, from 2019, the winemaker will also be producing vineyard potatoes in addition to wine. The winemaker is building his new winery himself with countless helpers, using natural building materials such as wood, straw and clay. For some, Ronald Linder is a crank, for others a visionary. He defines himself as an assimilant. Everything that strengthens vitality is integrated into the winery.
