Winery Wohlgemuth-Schnürr
Germany - Rheinhessen www.wohlgemuth-schnuerr.de Descrizione dell'azienda vinicola: We have been working intensively with fungus-resistant grape varieties for more than ten years. Today we have one of the most extensive Experience and expertise in the cultivation and ageing of these exciting wines. They grow on more than 50 per cent of our vineyard area, require up to 80 percent less crop treatment products and we need less fuel, avoid soil compaction and save time. To preservationists makes us enthusiastic about the historical white Grape variety Early Red Malvasia. And of course, we also burn for the classic varieties of Rheinhessen: Riesling, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, Scheurebe ... For us, living sustainability means being more conscious, Sensible and economical use of resources and the ever new search for sustainable concepts for the future. We deliberately do not use herbicides in our vineyards and rely on legumes in the greenery as a natural fertiliser. In this way we offer insects a colourful livelihood and ensure a diverse fauna and flora. We take back empty bottles and reuse them. This way we save a lot of CO2 on. That and much more is what we have set out to achieve with the FairChoice®-Seal of the German Institute for Sustainable Development.
