In the immediate vicinity of the Duca di Salaparuta estates, they caused a sensation with their grapes, so that in 1999 the family decided to build their own winery and produce the wines themselves. Today, the Vaccaros own over 45 hectares of vineyards in three different locations: between 160 m and 400 m above sea level, there are different soil structures and microclimates for optimal conditions of the different grape varieties.
