Roth Winery
Germany - Franconia www.weingut-roth.de Description du domaine : The Roth winery has been run as a family business in Wiesenbronn (Franconia) for five generations. As early as 1974, and thus as one of the pioneers, Gerhard Roth began the conversion to organic viticulture in the winery. Wiesenbronn is one of the climatically and soil favourable locations in Franconia. The estate's vineyards lie at the foot of the Schwanberg. The wooded heights of the mountain keep the cold air away from the vineyards. The sheltered location and the dark gypsum-keuper soil, which absorbs a lot of heat during the day and releases it again at night, allow the vines to thrive there excellently.
